RIGA, May 9 (Xinhua) -- A photo exhibition on China's ethnic minorities opened in Riga on Thursday, highlighting the diverse lifestyles and centuries-old traditions of many ethnic groups.

On June 10th last year, the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Summit in Qingdao came to a close. Under the continued influence of the "summit effect," Qingdao has been expanding its openness, intensifying economic and trade exchanges, and cultural interactions with SCO member states. The event will last until the 26th.
